Will I receive a 1099 every year?2020-05-27T01:25:51+00:00

Royalty owners who received $10 or more and working interest owners who received $600 or more in the calendar year will receive a 1099 by January 31st of the following year. The income reported to the IRS is your gross income prior to any deductions or taxes. The 1099 form will also list any state or federal backup withholding amounts deducted from your revenue checks. The same form can be used to report state income tax. We do not send 1099’s to corporations.

The Joint Interest Billing and Revenue process are done two months following the end of production. For example, January production would be processed in March. Payments for small royalty amounts are accumulated and paid once a year in October, and/or once the amount reaches $75.00.

Please allow 15 business days to receive your check. If you become aware that your check has been stolen, please immediately contact:

If you locate a check that is over 90 days old, please call the same number prior to further action. The check may have been voided on company records. Arrangements will be made to replace the stale dated check if necessary.

Optimum Compression Solutions

At Optimum Compression, we understand the pressure that pumpers and operators face. We are based out of the San Juan Basin, in Aztec, New Mexico. With 24,000 producing wells making 100 mcf/d or less populating the San Juan Basin, our founders recognized an opportunity and worked together to create a low-cost compression unit that could extend the economic viability of wells. With service and operator perspectives, Optimum is an efficient organization that provides quality, low-cost compression products for pumpers and operators.

Our Focus

We designed ‘plug and play’ compressor packages to provide low cost compression to generate value for our customers. Our units have been field tested in extreme conditions to ensure they perform for our pumpers and operators. We are constantly evolving our product line and are currently working on electric powered units, solar powered units, and solutions for Vapor Recovery Units.
